PASSPORT UPDATE:
Homeland Security regulations state that, beginning January 31, 2008, U.S. citizens will need to present either a WHTI-compliant document (such as a valid passport) or a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license) plus proof of citizenship (like a certified birth certificate). However, youth 16 through 18 traveling with churches and schools need only to have a certified birth certificate with them.  However, it is the Planning Team’s opinion that it is in your participants  best interest for them all to have passports, if possible.

OUR THEME: "And God Danced"
Have you ever been so happy and excited that you just couldn't help but have a full-minute-full-body spasm?  ("Some people call it dancing, but you haven't seen me dance.  -Pastor Erik Young)  If we are made in the image of our Creator (Genesis 1:27) and he was happy and excited with all he had made (Genesis 1:31), it wouldn't be all that strange think of God dancing over you and dancing with you. You are his creation, as are the 400,000 people in Ensenada.  How can we be more like God and celebrate over what and whom God has made?

OUR SPEAKER: David Scherer, a.k.a. "Agapé"
Agapé (Dave Scherer) has inspired youth from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Spokane, WA with his relational ministry "Hip Hop Outreach." Using Rhythmic American Poetry (rap), he is able to reach the young people of today in a way that they really "get it." He combines dancing, rapping, storytelling and his fluency in Spanish to captivate his audience and challenge them to explore their faith in God. With his passion for diversity, he invites people to bridge the gaps that exist in today's society. He has produced two CDs and travels across the country with his ministry.  Hear him and learn more at HipHopOutreach.com.
